The SCK-300P + Vacuum Chuck Spin Coater Kit (version 2) is a fully assembled, modular, “Home Built” Spin Coater that improves on the SCK-300 design by incorporating an Innovative Vacuum Chuck Design (Patent Pending), Arduino-based Closed-Loop Precision Digital Controller (+/- 5 rpm resolution), and wider speed range (500 to 8,000 rpms). It comes with everything needed for R&D spin coating work of small substrates*. To put it simply, the SCK-300P offers the best value of any “Low-Cost” Spin Coater on the market by far! P.S. These kits are not suitable for production or precision work! Key Features: Low Cost – The cost of this kit is significantly less than a commercial spin coater unit. This makes it ideal for R&D work where the benefits of a commercial spin coater is yet to be determined.Vacuum Chuck – The kit has vacuum capable chuck to mount substrates instead of double sided tape. Double sided tape can also be used by removing the rubber o-ring. Compact Size – The small foot print of the SCK-300P means that it requires very little space. For example, the unit can be setup in a crowded hood, inside a glove box.Closed-Loop Digital Control – Greater control of coating processEasy to Setup and Use – Simply turn on the unit, place sample on chuck, put on the chamber cover, select spin speed, and start the coating process. Moreover, the kit only needs a 110V or 220V AC power source. Dynamic Spin Range – Spin rates from 500 – 8,000 rpm can be achieved with good control.
