Specifications: The KONTES Cytostir Stirred Bioreactors are borosilicate glass flasks designed for tissue culture applications. Flask Design: These flasks have two large sidearms with screw cap closures, allowing easy sampling. The domed flask base prevents microcarriers from accumulating directly under the stirring blades. All one-liter and larger size flasks have anti-drip pour lips and polypropylene caps with sealing rings. They are autoclavable for sterilization. Stirring Blades: The large, height-adjustable Teflon stirring blades provide maximum stirring efficiency. They keep microcarriers in suspension even at slow stirring speeds.
